A Meissen porcelain teapot with Chinoiserie decor

Painted with a detailed park scene. The matching but associated lid decorated with "indianische blumen" and gold lace edging. Dreher's mark /. Chips to the tip of the spout and the rim of the lid. H 10.3 cm.
The porcelain pre-1723, decorated by a "hausmaler".

The British Museum London houses a Meissen cup and saucer from the Franks Collection signed "Lauche fecit Dresden". Many attributions have been made on the basis of this piece. It is possible that the decoration of this teapot in the style of Du Paquier also originates from his hand.
