A Meissen porcelain slop bowl with a merchant navy scene in iron red

The outer surface decorated with a detailed merchant navy scene. The well painted with an identical depiction. The inner rim with gilt lace, the basal ring with a gilt border. Blue crossed swords mark, incised I in the basal ring, marked 2 in gold. The basal ring with minor chips, one small restored rim chip, minor wear to the gilt rim. H 8.2, D 18.1 cm.
Circa 1728 - 30, decor attributed to Christian Friedrich Herold.
