A Meissen tea bowl and saucer with merchant navy scenes in iron red

Porcelain, iron red cameo decor, gilding. The outer body of the tea bowl painted with a continous merchant navy scene, the well of the saucer with the same depiction in an iron red surround. Blue crossed swords mark, the basal ring incised /, gold dot. Small retouching to the gilding. Cup H 4,2, UT D 12 cm.
Circa 1730.
