A small stained ivory okimono of Monju Bosatsu, by Shiryô (Yukiyoshi). Late 19th century
Seated on the back of a roaring shishi standing on a flat cloud base, the bosatsu reads in an open scroll, the long shawl swirling around the figure and animal. Signed Shiryô (Yukiyoshi).
