35.4 x 25.7 cm. Nihon hana zue (or zukushi). One sheet table of contents, followed by 36 oban prints depicting historical figures, events, pastimes. Signed: Gekko. Seals: various. Publisher: Matsuki Heikichi. Date: Meiji 30 (1897). Matuski Heikichi’s publisher’s label in the back together with a trademark label. Fine impressions and colours, very good condition (back dented).

The series was issued by at least three publishers (Matsuki Heikichi, Sasaki Toyokichi and Akiyama Buemon) between 1892 and 1900, with various contents, partly overlapping, for each album.
