A large and unusual ivory netsuke of Shôki with a captured oni. 18th century

Running off with the captured demon on a small cloud base, the sword in its scabbard at the back, the beard, flaps of his cap and the long sleeves blowing to the left depicting movement. Very good patina.
Height 8.5 cm
