A tagayasan wood two-part manjû of a Hannya mask, by Kyokuzan. Second half 19th century
On the grained wood surface lies a wrapping cloth rendered in lacquer with a small Hannya mask of iron with details in shakudô and gold on top. Signed on the reverse in maki-e Kyokuzan.
