An ivory netsuke of a mokugyo. Second half 19th century
With handles in the shape of dragons holding a tama in their mouths, the body carved with dragon scales and a stylised lotus in a lobed reserve. Signed with a three-character signature of which only the sai is visible, the other characters rubbed down.
