A three-case wood inrô, by Tôunsai. Second half 19th century

Of large rounded shape, carved to one side with a shishi, the other side with a peony, both on a hanabishi ground in a lobed reserve and beneath a draped curtain. With an amber ojime and an ivory seal netsuke with a shishi playing with a brocade ball.
Height 8.5 cm
