An interesting boxwood netsuke of a samurai catching a thief, by Masayoshi. Second half 19th century

A samurai with two swords holds down a thief with his bare foot and grabs him by the arm while drawing his sword, whilst the thief, in a kosode and jacket, holds on to a lantern and a stolen money pouch dangling from his arm. On a flat irregular base. Signed Masayoshi.
