An ivory netsuke of Raiden on a large drum, by Masatsugu. First half 19th century
The God of Thunder crouches on a large taiko, a drumstick in his raised right hand. Horns inlaid, the nails of the drum skin of black horn. Signed Masatsugu in an oval reserve. Chipped, some inlays missing.
