Oban triptych. Title: Meiji jugo mizunoe-uma kishu kaiga kyoshinkai shuppinga Fujiwara no Yasumasa gekka roteki zu. Fujiwara Yasumasa playing the flute in the fields before the full moon, enchanting his brother Kidomaru who is about to rob him. Signed: Oju Taiso Yoshitoshi utsusu. Seals: Taiso and Yoshitoshi. Publisher: Akiyama Buemon. Date: Meiji 16 (1883). Very good impression, faded, various missing areas, sheets glued together, backed.

This design is considered to be Yoshitoshi's masterpiece. He made several previous designs of this subject and a later one, as well. In 1882 he submitted a painting showing this particular scene to the Exhibition for the Advancement of Painting (Naikoku kaiga kyoshinkai) at the sight of which Akiyama Buemon asked Yoshitoshi to make a print of it, which was released in the following year.
